I thought I would share a script from one of my favorite devotionals today.
Say this prayer out loud:
“God show me how to live creatively in a world where
everyone tries to be the same. Help me to set boundaries in the
kindest and most appropriate way so that I can have space
from those who drag me down without hurting them in the
process. I know it’s better to live for you than to spend my
days trying to please everyone else. Make me bold enough to
take a step toward space and wise enough to keep it. Thank
you for sending your son Jesus to this earth so that I could see
this modeled so well.”
Amen
