Simply & Chic is a website I created from scratch to share everything I love all on one platform. From motherhood, style for both women and baby, beauty, fitness/health, food, and occasional travel. Story short, overall lifestyle! Here you can shop my closet, Liam’s closet, home decor, beauty products I love and so much more! My goal for this site is for women to come and escape reality by reading and finding products they love to make them their most beautiful authentic self and leaving with a little more simplicity and chic in their day.
This idea originated from staying at home with my son, Liam. I was feeling so disconnected from the outside world (like did anything still exist outside of our home?). I have a burning passion for the women of this world scaling from everything fashion and style to beauty and health. Now, here I was in my new world “mom life” and I was loving the role but knew I wanted/needed to stay connected with what I was passionate about before motherhood. So this idea was created, Simply & Chic. A place for women of every background to come shop, read, and smile about everything I love and hold dearly. You will see a lot about motherhood and mom life because obviously that is what consumes most of my life at the moment, but I will sprinkle in some fashion, style, beauty, and health along the way!
Over the past couple months I have been building this site at home with my little boy as my business partner (pictured above). I have mostly worked during nap time and occasionally when his nana and grandma babysit him. For those of you who have children, working while they are awake is nearly impossible. From helping me type to chewing on my computer, I have nearly given up on the idea of working with an awake baby.
To my readers, I hope you read something that makes you laugh, smile, and feel inspired and to my shoppers, I hope you find something with which you love and need in your life just like I do in my own! Everything on this site is what I truly love, use, and feel passionate about and I want to share that with all of you!
Lastly, future plans I have for Simply & Chic is to grow this website as an influencer for women to come and feel their best self. I am on YouTube where I share lifestyle videos for you to watch, laugh, and learn. Finally, future plans are to hopefully have my very own line of baby clothes (Mommy & me line) authentically my own and unlike every other baby boutique you find. (Because y’all know how I love my little man stylin’ in cute clothes and even more when we can match Mommy & Me together!)
